Dua Zehra’s safe return is prayed for by Mahira Khan, Shadab Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, and other celebrities.
The 14-year-old girl went missing five days ago in Karachi’s Al-Falah neighborhood.
Actress Mahira Khan, cricketer Shadab Khan, and actor Osman Khalid Butt are among the celebrities who have prayed for the safe return of Dua Zehra, a 14-year-old girl who was abducted five days ago.
According to The News, Dua went missing from Karachi’s Al-Falah neighbourhood on April 17. The family of the adolescent claimed she had gone downstairs to dispose of some trash. They also revealed that she has been absent from school for the past year and a half.
“I have no grudges against anyone.” The kidnappers have called me twice for a ransom. “One call was made from a landline number, while the other was made from a WhatsApp mobile phone number,” the father explained. He immediately informed the police about the ransom calls after receiving them.
An active investigation is underway, and the kidnapping case has been reported to Zainab Alert, but the family’s anxiety grows with each passing day. They threatened to commit suicide outside Governor House if their daughter was not safely recovered, according to The News.
Netizens are re-sharing the missing person’s poster on social media in the hopes of spreading the word and finding her. Users on social media are wishing for the best, and they aren’t alone. Celebrities have added their voices to the chorus, expressing their wishes for Dua’s safe return.
Mahira said she’s praying from the bottom of her heart for Dua to return “safe and sound” “today,” and she’s contacted the appropriate authorities for more assistance.
Dua’s parents recently revealed on a live show that a mosque refused to issue a missing person’s alert for their daughter because her name was “Shia.” Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, a filmmaker, shared a screenshot of the news on her Instagram story, expressing her displeasure. “This is EVERYTHING wrong with Pakistan, and I am truly disgusted today that this is how mosques behave it is a place to come together, not to tear us apart,” she concluded, adding a broken heart emoji as a reminder.
