Yesterday, Ali Zafar took it to Instagram to open up about the case where he was accused of sexually harassing his colleague, Meesha Shafi.
According to him, he had been silent for about a year while people kept spewing hate over him and bullied him, his family, and his supporters.
Another point that he had raised was, why Meesha wasn’t attending the sessions of the court?
His remarks show his anguish and disgust against his colleague for first accusing him, then failing to appear on the court.
He also dragged in Malala into his remark that Meesha is following her footsteps to gain sympathy from abroad.
Malala Yousufzai was the girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban.
Furthermore, the case against Ali has been dismissed in the court due to lack of proof in this regard.
Let’s just hope and pray that justice prevails soon.
Here’s what he posted on Instagram:

LINK IN BIO: For one whole year I have been silent while facts were being distorted and me, my family and my supporters were being cyber bullied through fake accounts SHOCKINGLY being followed, endorsed and retweeted by Meesha’s own lawyer who claims to be an “internet rights activist” and “human rights lawyer”. Same fake accounts were printed in various credible publications to build a narrative against me. If there is anything more shamefully criminal, it’s this! I have filed a case against them too in the FIA. Enough is enough! This is my statement regarding my case against #MeeshaShafi. She should stop hiding behind fake accounts to fight her case and instead come to the court to face the truth. #FaceTheCourtMeeshaShafi Click on link in my bio for my video statement.
