FBR issued a tax evasion notice to Pakistani singer Aima Baig
Aima Baig, a musician, has received a tax notice from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Aima Baig is a famous name in the Pakistani music business, and she’s had several significant songs in recent years. The FBR has sent the artist with a notice for suspected non-payment of income tax in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
If the problem is not rectified, the car she listed on her tax filings will be confiscated by the authorities. Aima Baig, on the other hand, has made headlines for her nationwide performances and songs. She has yet to make an official comment.
Earlier in 2021, the FBR issued a tax notice to artist Atif Aslam and threatened him with disciplinary action. According to media sources, Atif has been charged around Rs 0.60 million, with a March 15 deadline.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) gave Aslam a tax notice of 58 million following an audit of his income for the year 2018.
