Islamabad Police Department (ICTP) Launches WhatsApp Service

Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has begun its services for Islamabad citizens via WhatsApp in order to give a more effective service to the capital’s population.

The WhatsApp application allows Islamabad citizens to file complaints with the Islamabad Police Department using the WhatsApp number 0334-287-428-7. (033-ICTP-ICTP).

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Ahsan Younus announced the Islamabad Police WhatsApp service on their official Twitter handle. “To make our services more available to civilians, Islamabad Police is distributing its WhatsApp number,” he stated in the video message.

“Individuals may register themselves with our number 0334-2874287, which is 0334-ICTP-ICTP, by sending a simple hi/hello,” the IGP said, adding that when citizens send a message to Islamabad Police WhatsApp number, they would be presented with a choice of alternatives.

According to IGP Mohammad Ahsan Younus, the Islamabad Police WhatsApp service would allow citizens to conveniently contact the police for any service. The services are also available in English and Urdu.
